BIANCA N. HARO, a feminista-educator-activist, is a first-generation college student and daughter of immigrant parents from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Currently, she is a visiting assistant professor of sociology at Pitzer College. Her research examines the factors that push Latina students out of school.
