M. B. B. Biskupski earned a Ph.D. from Yale University and holds the Blejwas Endowed Chair in Polish History at Central Connecticut State University. He has published twenty-four books, including Hollywood's War with Poland, 1939–1945 (2010), Independence Day: Myth, Symbol, and the Creation of Modern Poland (2012), and Prezydent Woodrow Wilson a odrodzenie państwa polskiego, 1914–1918 (2023). His distinguished scholarship and professional service have been recognized with the Commander's Cross of the Polish Order of Merit. Currently, an international group of scholars is preparing a Festschrift in his honor.
Inga Iwasiów is a professor in the Institute of Literature and New Media, University of Szczecin, Poland. She is also a writer and a literary critic. Her research and teaching interests focus on literature from the nineteenth century to the present, as well as gender studies and cultural studies.
