Abstract

An interview with Dr. Maciej Siekierski, senior curator of the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, one of the leading repositories of archival materials relating to Poland. The discussion covers the Polish collections at Hoover, their origins, and contents. These include, to name only a few, collections pertaining to Ignacy Paderewski, the Polish Government-in-Exile based in London, Jan Karski, Radio Free Europe, and numerous personages or subjects prominent in the history of the Polish People’s Republic.
