Farina King
Farina King, a citizen of the Navajo Nation (Bilagáanaa born for the Towering House and Black-streaked Woods clans), is an assistant professor of history and affiliate of the Cherokee and Indigenous Studies Department at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She is the author of The Earth Memory Compass: Diné Landscapes and Education in the Twentieth Century (University Press of Kansas, October 2018).
