IN THIS ISSUE, WE SPEAK WITH MARK DEPUE, who during his career at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library created an invaluable resource for future historians with the oral history collection. Dr. DePue served as the director of oral history at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) from September of 2006 to the end of 2021, a position he inaugurated. To date, the program has collected over 1,100 interviews, with well over one thousand interviews posted to the ALPLM's oral history website at https://www.oralhistory.illinois.gov.
