Joe Bean
Joe Bean is a doctoral student in history at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. Selected as an Illinois Humanities Council Road Scholar in 2012, he researched, wrote, and delivered “Adlai!,” a non-partisan presentation about Adlai Stevenson’s career in public service to groups throughout the state. Bean is a graduate of Northwestern University and earned his Master’s degree from the University of Illinois Springfield.
