Dan Blumlo
Dan Blumlo earned his Ph.D. at Florida State University in 2010. He is the author of “The Creoles of Russian America: Laborers in the Borderlands,” a chapter within the edited work Contours of a People: Métis Family, Mobility, and History (2012). In 2010, he joined the history department at Rock Valley College, in Rockford, Illinois. At Rock Valley College, he is the department chair and teaches courses in World, Middle East, and American history.
