When I began my journey into Book of Mormon studies in earnest, amongst the many aspects of interest to me was, and is, the theology of the book itself. While numerous individuals had sought to compare and/or contrast the content of the Book of Mormon to/with that of the Bible, I soon discovered that works focused exclusively on the theology, or even the teaching, of the Book of Mormon were few and far between.
There are, no doubt, many reasons for this state of affairs, but two in particular appear to have been primary for such a dearth of investigations.
