Khari Patrice Jackson is a theologian and creative currently serving as the graduate student engagement coordinator at Virginia Union University. She is passionate about the intersection of religion, social justice, and society, and aspires to teach at the collegiate level. She believes that education can be a healing salve for the wounds of this world. Guided by womanist thoughts and principles, she plans to merge the sacred and secular through her work. She has an MDiv from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and a BA in psychology from North Carolina Central University.
