Michael J. Douma is an associate professor at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he is Director of the Institute for the Study of Markets and Ethics. He teaches economic history and the history of globalization. He has published widely on the Dutch in the United States.

Jonathan Hsy is Professor of English at George Washington University, where he is also Affiliated Faculty in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and the Sigur Center for Asian Studies. His interests include comparative literature, race, disability, and media studies. He is the author of Antiracist Medievalisms: From “Yellow Peril” to Black Lives Matter (2021) and co-editor of A Cultural History of Disability in the Middle Ages (2020).
