Mark Benbow earned his PhD from Ohio University. He is an Assistant Professor of American History at Marymount University and formerly worked in the Directorate of Intelligence in the CIA and at the Woodrow Wilson House in Washington. His biography of Washington, DC brewer Christian Heurich will be published by McFarland in 2017.
