Rethinking Aristotle’s Poetics: The Pragmatic Aspect of Art and Knowledge

Anoop Gupta holds a B.A. and M.A. in philosophy from McMaster University in Canada, as well as a Ph.D. with a focus on the philosophy of mathematics from the University of Ottawa, Canada. From the University of Windsor, he holds a B.Ed. and M.Ed. in administration. He is presently enrolled in Windsor’s joint Ph.D. in cognition and learning, working on the cognitive behavioral dimensions of meaning making in algebra and the visual arts. He has written on sociopolitical topics such as the environment and India and has published one book and several articles in three countries.
