John Cavallone is a Chicago area genealogist; author of From Sassano to 48th & Federal Street: An Italian Migration at the Turn of the 20th Century and contributing author to Reconstructing Italians in Chicago: 10th Anniversary 2021 Edition and The Sassano Project. Donna M. DeBlasio is professor emerita of history and the former director of the Center for Applied History and the Oral History Program at Youngstown State University. She has authored and co-authored scholarly and popular works on the history of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
