ABSTRACT

This article examines how the Tai Chi rhythm of “loosen-empty-push,” which reflects the yin-yang relationship, can be applied to the role of worship in the contemporary ecumenical movement. In the search for Christian unity, the Tai Chi rhythm will invite readers to join the flow of thoughts in which the pluralistic nature of ordo is recognized (loosen), prayerful listening is practiced (empty), and inculturation is explored (push).
