Abstract
The poetry of Wilma Elizabeth McDaniel provides intriguing context for Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath. Of intrinsic value in its own right, McDaniel’s work carries echoes of women like Ma Joad and her experiences on the trek to California.
