ABSTRACT
Dozens of reviews of Edith Wharton's books that are unrecorded in the standard bibliographies are listed in this article. Many of these reviews appeared in periodicals published far from Wharton's native milieu, and some in rather unexpected venues. Some of the reviewers evaluated several of Wharton's works, and some were well-known critics in their day.
