ABSTRACT

In this article, different types of posthuman experimentation are described, including biohacking implants (of one sort or another) and neural implants. Actual practical results are presented for discussion, as opposed to mere theoretical or philosophical concepts. The possible impact and potential effect of such realizations are also considered. Based on these techniques, some realistic future scenarios involving the capabilities of posthumans, over and above those of normal humans (as we know them today), are discussed in terms of the implants introduced. These include extended/extra sensory input, nervous systems extended over networks, and communication by thought.
