Roast Lamb: Charles Lamb's Animal Anxiety
Chase Pielak earned his doctorate in English at Claremont Graduate University, and he is now a lecturer in the Department of English at Auburn University. Pielak's research focuses on transatlantic Romanticism, animal studies, and posthuman criticism. His publications include Memorializing Animals during the Romantic Period and (with Alexander Cohen) Living with Zombies: Society in Apocalypse in Film, Literature, and Other Media. Currently, Pielak is completing (with Jacqueline Elam) Corpse Encounters: Where Dead Bodies and Aesthetics Collide and co-editing Anthropocene Responsibility.
