Urmi Bhowmik
Urmi Bhowmik is honorary associate in English at the Open University and associate lecturer with the Open University in the South-East. Her main fields of research are book history and postcolonial studies, with minor interests in Enlightenment epistemology, the emergence of the novel, science studies, and literary history. Her current project focuses on the history of the periodical in England from 1660 to 1740.
