ABSTRACT
Founder of the Good News Movement, an evangelical caucus loosely associated with The United Methodist Church, Rev. Charles Keysor looked back on the 1980 General Conference as a failure for the evangelical cause within United Methodism. In this article, Riley B. Case offers a different understanding of the 1980 General Conference and its implications for Good News’ future within the denomination.
