DR. JÉRÔME GROSCLAUDE has been a Senior Lecturer in British Church History at Clermont Auvergne University since 2012. He specializes in the study of the Church of England and of Methodism since the nineteenth century, with a particular emphasis on the Victorian Era. He is the author of “‘Though this be madness, yet there is method in't’: John Wesley and Emanuel Swedenborg’ in Proceedings of the Wesley Historical Society, 62.1 and of Le Méthodisme: un tison tiré du feu (Maisons-Laffitte: Éditions Ampelos, 2017).
