The impact of COVID-19 on libraries and society will be the focus of intense study for generations to come—a process that was already well underway even in the midst of the pandemic.1 To capture and preserve a slice of this historical moment, we invited members of the Library History Round Table listserv to respond anonymously to a survey. As journal editors we had a particular interest in exploring how the pandemic affected library historians' ability to conduct research. As libraries and archives closed during the pandemic, did reduced access to collections disrupt researchers' plans? Were library historians engulfed by additional work or family responsibilities?
