Abstract

Working with children takes us to unexpected places. Children are in constant movement and transformation. They surprise us with their understanding of the world, and introduce us to a different perspective and experience of life. The work is fascinating and sometimes disorienting.

There are some children who need help with the process of growing up. They are not able to integrate their own experience with a world that is presented to them. In this article I bring you a story of a boy who needed help to enter the world as a whole being. In achieving this, he also changed the world.

Gestalt therapy principles and values will be discussed in this case presentation.
