Abstract
Problematic drug use is a relational issue involving distinct boundary disturbances, fixed figures, and withdrawal delays that interfere with an efficient cycle of experiencing. The most direct and active approach to working with drug-dependent individuals involves re-formation, destruction, and/or integration of the figure of the drug effect itself. A description of this approach—utilizing illustrative stage-appropriate techniques—is offered.
