Abstract
This article presents a framework for the development of case conceptualization within a Gestalt and developmental framework. It suggests a series of questions that serve as guidelines in the development of case conceptualizations. A central theme is that there is a fundamental problem in self-development that interferes with an important life project. Resolution of the problem involves movement through developmental standpoints. The application of these guidelines to a specific case example is presented.
