Educational Reform Related to Personal and Social Responsibility:The Case of Core Commitments Available to Purchase

Chris R. Glass is an assistant professor in the Higher Education Program at Old Dominion University. His research focuses on educational experiences that foster global, intercultural learning and the changing nature of academic work and workplaces.

Nancy O'Neill is the director of learning initiatives and co-director, Bank of America Center for Learning, Teaching, and Technology at the University of Baltimore. Previously she was the director of integrative programs and assistant director for the Core Commitments initiative at the Association of American Colleges and Universities. Her interests include high-impact teaching and learning practices, organizational change, and student identity development.
