This special issue of the Edith Wharton Review marks the centenary of The Age of Innocence. Due to the suspension of work on the issue during the pandemic, we were unable to publish it in 2020 as planned. Wharton was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for The Age of Innocence on June 1, 1921, providing us in 2021 with the opportunity to celebrate this 100th anniversary along with the novel.
