Hallelujah and Amen: The Revival of The Color Purple as African-American Church
Aaron Brown is enrolled in the MFA program in Directing at Baylor University. He taught at Glenda Dawson High School in Pearland, TX, after completing a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre at Oklahoma City University. An advocate of diversity in the arts, Brown has presented papers at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education conference, the Comparative Drama Conference, the Mid-America Theatre Conference, the Texas Educators Theatre Association conference, and the Southwest American Pop Culture Conference. He has directed and choreographed more than twenty productions, including his recently-completed thesis production of Crazy for You at Baylor.
