Costumbrismo erótico y parodia antipetrarquista en el Tomé de Burguillos de Lope de Vega
Adrián Pérez Boluda is Assistant Professor of Spanish at California State University, Northridge. He received his Ph.D. in Spanish Literature from the University of California, Davis, with a dissertation on eroticism in the Rimas humanas y divinas del Licenciado Tomé de Burguillos. His research interests include a wide range of topics in Golden Age Literature and he is currently preparing a study of the erotic meanings underlying Lope's poetic works. He has presented papers at several conferences on topics such as the naked female body and sensuality in daily life in Golden Age verse. He also has interests in Baroque Catalan poetry, focusing especially on Francesc Vicent Garcia, a priest whose burlesque poems exemplify eroticism as poeticized at the end of the seventeenth century.
