Ignacio Navarrete (Ph.D., Comparative Literature, Indiana University) is Associate Professor Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. His classes include graduate and undergraduate courses on Golden Age lyric, renaissance drama, the Celestina, and Don Quijote. He is the author of Orphans of Petrarch: Poetry and Theory in the Spanish Renaissance, and of numerous articles on Spanish and Portuguese renaissance poetry and poetics. [email protected]
