Hasan Malay, who taught as Professor of Ancient History at Ege University in Izmir, Turkey, and Georg Petzl, who taught at the University of Cologne, Germany, publish here 213 newly discovered inscriptions containing religious texts from the Hellenistic period to Christian antiquity, discovered in the region of Lydia on the surface of ancient sites, during archaeological excavations, or in the course of agricultural or construction work. The authors describe the find-spot, note the present location of each inscription, many of which have been taken to local museums, and provide a photograph of the inscription (and other finds, occasionally of the region).
