About the Journal
The Journal of Austrian-American History is devoted to the study of the historic relationship between the United States and Austria, including the historical Habsburg Empire. Its articles, review essays, and special issues explore the transatlantic exchange between the two countries across the disciplines of history, political science, economics, law, and cultural studies.
An open access, double anonymous, peer-reviewed scholarly publication, the Journal of Austrian-American History is sponsored by the Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies, an initiative of the Dietrich W. Botstiber Foundation.

The Journal of Austrian-American History is an Open Access Journal which means that all content is freely available immediately upon publication without charge to the user or their institution. About the Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies
Founded in 2008, The Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies seeks to "promote an understanding of the historic relationship between the United States and Austria." The Institute accomplishes this goal through offering annual fellowships, providing grants for scholarly research, and sponsoring lectures and conferences on Austrian–American studies.
