Following his superb production in April 2017 of Incident at Vichy, Director Phil Wilmott continues his close relationship with Miller's work with a revival of Finishing the Picture. This European premiere is only the second performance of the play since it premiered on 21 September 2004 at the Goodman Theatre Chicago, yet Wilmott recognizes the extreme relevance of the work at this moment. The recent widespread exposure of the mistreatment of actresses and the momentum of the Me Too movement are encapsulated by Miller's metaphoric drama.
