On Impure Communism: Rethinking Radical Democracy in Two Early Latin American Colonial Utopias (1516-32) Available to Purchase
Víctor Pueyo Zoco is an Associate Professor and Graduate Chair in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Temple University (Philadelphia). He holds a PhD in Hispanic languages and literatures (Stony Brook University, 2010). His interests include Marxist and post-Marxist critical theory, early capitalist ideological production in the Spanish Empire and the colonies, and contemporary cinema and popular culture in Spain. He has published two books and several articles in these fields. He is currently working on two parallel projects: an introduction to the commons in medieval and early modern Spain and a book on neoliberal fiction.
