Auto-Affective and Self-Referential Structure of Life in Derrida Available to Purchase
Satoru Yoshimatsu is a PhD candidate at Kyoto University. He specializes in French philosophy and comparative literature, especially around Jacques Derrida’s thought. He has written some articles on the notion of rhythm in Derrida (“Le temps, la vie et le rythme chez Derrida, lecteur de Freud” in Études de langue et littérature françaises du Kansaï, 2019), the politics of deconstruction (“The Time is out of Joint”–sur l’imminence de la justice chez Derrida” in Cahier Multiculturel, 2016). He is the principal Japanese translator of Radical Atheism by Martin Hägglund, and is participating in the co-translation project of Catherine Malabou (La Chambre du milieu), Jacques Derrida (Mémoires—pour Paul de Man), and so on.
