ANTONIO VIEGO is Associate Professor in the Program in Literature and in the Department of Romance Studies at Duke University. He also directs Duke's Program in Latino/a Studies in the Global South. His first book, Dead Subjects: Toward a Politics of Loss in Latino Studies was published in 2007 and he is currently working on completing his second book manuscript, The Life of the Undead: Latino Health and Disease. Professor Viego teaches courses in psychoanalytic theory, Latino/a studies, and sexuality studies.
