ANDREW M. BUTLER was the coeditor, with Mark Bould, of the special issue of Science Fiction Studies on the British Boom. His article, “Thirteen Ways of Looking at the British Boom” won the Pioneer Award. He has edited and coedited books on Terry Pratchett, Christopher Priest, and Ken MacLeod, and was coeditor, with Mark Bould, Adam Roberts, and Sherryl Vint, of The Routledge Companion to Science Fiction and Fifty Key Figures in Science Fiction. He is also the author of Solar Flares: Science Fiction in the 1970s (2011).
