Internal Enemies: Facets and Representations under State Terrorism
JORGE MONTEALEGRE is a writer and journalist. He holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Santiago de Chile. He is a researcher in the Department of Institutional Research and Analysis at the University of Santiago de Chile. His research interests include cultural studies (especially related to the imaginary, memory, and graphic humor). He is author of Prehistorieta de Chile, del arte rupestre al primer periódico de caricaturas (2003), Frazadas del Estadio Nacional (2003), Historia del Humor Gráfico en Chile (Spain, 2008), Violeta Parra — Instantes fecundos, visiones, retazos de memoria (2011).
LENA TAUB ROBLES is a Ph.D. student in French Literature at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is currently completing her dissertation, which focuses on aesthetics in contemporary Francophone and Hispanic literature from the Caribbean.
